John Hope

I recently retired from my own design/build construction company in Lawrence, Kansas after thirty years in the industry, but I found that I enjoyed designing too much to completely stop. This site provides context of my vision using photos and words.

My work involved mostly remodeling projects, including additions, kitchens, baths and new interior layouts. To maintain my own curiosity and excitement, I always looked sought original and creative projects that will satisfy the client beyond expectations.

Now that i have decided to resume designing, I will be available for consultations on interior finishes — furniture, colors, carpet, hardware etc. My objective is to have fun in design and reduce the stress of change for clients.

I have been networking with local trades people since completing my dream home by the water in Wickford and will be available to oversee projects as needed.

Please take a look around and don’t hesitate to get in contact with questions.

Omaha

My first construction company opened in Omaha, Nebraska in 1972. It was a long time ago, but I’m still proud of the work we did, especially for our part in the revitalization of the Old Market district, now one of the most popular destinations in the city.

Lawrence

The second company I started followed my move to the college town of Lawrence, Kansas. Despite it’s small population, Lawrence was as deverse as any large metropolis, and offered years of interesting projects for college professors, commuting professionals and everyone in between.
